The PS4 update is 2.4 GB in size, while the PC patch is a much lighter download at 130 MB. 2K also recommends that you whitelist your NBA 2K16 Steam folder in any security software that you’re using, to ensure that new content is properly downloaded and installed. There’s also a PC-specific fix in the patch, which addresses a corruption issue leading to hangs, missing art assets, and infinite loading. All fixes will work with your existing game saves, unless otherwise noted. It addresses some crashes and hangs, tunes the frequency of ball collisions as well as missed alley-oop and putback dunks when open, fixes sock colours for generated players, and resolves a variety of other bugs and issues related to gameplay, game modes, and stability. A new patch has come through for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of NBA 2K16.
